Admin Assistant

HERALD is hiring... We're looking for an Admin Assistant to join our team.

  • RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Handle general administrative duties
    • Manage phone calls and correspondence
    • Compiling, maintaining, updating order/distribution list
    • Maintain proper files and records
    • Liaising with clergy/parishes/vendors/advertisers/transport companies/dispatch
    • Tracking of delivery orders
    • Preparing labels, invoices and receipts
    • Assist in packing and labelling of newspaper bundles
    • Other duties that may be assigned from time to time
  • REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

    • Diploma or SPM equivalent
    • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant
    • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Pleasant disposition
    • Patient, responsible, passionate and able to work as a team
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Meticulous and attention to detail and accuracy
    • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Willingness and ability to handle a variety of tasks
