The Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur Social Communications Ministry marked the 60th World Day of Social Communication with the annual G.E.M.A. Mass at the Church of St Anthony, Kuala Lumpur.Gathering over 80 participants from media, public relations, and parish social communications ministries, the event provided a meaningful space for fellowship, sharing, and networking within the Catholic communications community. The ministry’s Ecclesiastical Assistant, Fr. Dr. Clarence Devadass, currently in Sandakan, Sabah, sent a video message to welcome participants and share reflections on this year’s theme. Archbishop Julian Leow highlighted the importance of truth and integrity in communication, and reminded communicators to uphold human creativity and voice in the age of AI.
