Guidelines for Priests intending to visit KL Archdiocese
Protocol Document for Visiting Priests
Welcome to the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur.
This protocol applies to any priest from outside the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Malaysia-Singapore-Brunei who presents himself under one of the following circumstances:
- Priest officially invited by the Archdiocese or Parish for a specific ministry.
- Priest visiting a fellow priest-friend from the Archdiocese who wishes to reside in the Parish House and engage in priestly ministry.
- Priest passing through as a tourist or visiting friends.
There are four (4) forms which must be completed:
- Form A: A statement signed by the Diocesan Bishop or Religious Superior of the visiting priest, attesting to his suitability for ministry.
- Form B: A profile to be completed by the visiting priest, containing relevant personal information.
- Form C: A commitment from the visiting priest to adhere to the conditions set by the Archdiocese.
- Form D: Details of the invitation, to be completed by the local host.

ButtonAll forms must be completed and submitted along with a valid celebret (valid for six months) and a copy of your passport. Please email these documents to chancery@archkl.org.
The Chancery will acknowledge receipt of your forms. You will be notified via email within fourteen (14) working days regarding the approval status of your request.
