Merdeka Thanksgiving Mass and Fellowship

Parishioners of the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Klang, gathered in vibrant traditional cultural attire for a joyful Merdeka Thanksgiving Mass. The service was animated by local BECs and ministries and celebrated by Fr. Gregory Chan, concelebrated by Fr. Gnana Selvam Berentis, Fr. Bonaventure, Fr. Simon Agbo, and Fr. Michael Idatu.

Following Mass, a flag-raising ceremony and the singing of Negaraku took place at the church entrance, marking a proud and meaningful moment of national unity.

The celebration continued with warm fellowship and a generous potluck. BECs and ministries contributed over 40 diverse and delicious dishes, ensuring something special for everyone.

It was a beautiful celebration of faith, culture, unity, and togetherness, truly embodying the spirit of one Malaysian family.
