Paschal Triduum 2026
The Paschal Triduum is a single, three-day liturgy that begins on Holy Thursday and concludes with the Easter Vigil. It follows Christ's journey from the Last Supper and the washing of feet, through the solemnity of the Cross on Good Friday, to the transformative light of the Resurrection. This is more than a reenactment; it draws us into the mystery of redemption. As the Triduum ends, it leads into the Easter Octave, an eight-day celebration viewed as one continuous "Great Sunday," showing that the joy of the Resurrection is too great for just one day.
Here are highlights from Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil within our Archdiocesan family.
