Come and See

Twenty-five young men from Peninsular Malaysia participated in a four-day live-in vocation programme at the College General Regional Major Seminary. Led by Rector Fr Ryan Innas Muthu, the initiative introduced aspirants to seminary life and the four pillars of priestly formation: human, spiritual, intellectual, and pastoral. The programme emphasised a balanced, integrated lifestyle through shared prayer, daily community life, manual work, and fraternal recreation.

During their stay, the retreatants engaged deeply with the seminary's prayer rhythms while exploring the realities of ministry. Fr Cyril Mannayagam discussed the mission of the diocesan priesthood, Fr Larry Tan, SJ, guided them through Ignatian discernment, and Fr Surain Durai Raj addressed priestly life. A hands-on pastoral visit to the Little Sisters of the Poor highlighted the joy of humble service, leaving the aspirants inspired and profoundly renewed in their ongoing vocational discernment.
