The Catholic Charismatic Renewal (CCR) ministry at the Church of St. Ignatius, Petaling Jaya, celebrated its 50th anniversary with a powerful three-day retreat and a jubilee gala dinner. Addressing 600 attendees, Fr. Michael Payyapilly, VC, reminded them that baptism commissions everyone to be "SENT," urging a transition from "spiritual consumers" to "spiritual producers" while emphasizing walking by the Spirit.

The celebration culminated in a spectacular Jubilee Gala Dinner filled with fellowship, laughter, and music. Graced by Archbishop Julian Leow and Fr. Michael, the evening featured standout performances by Parish Priest Fr. Thomas Khoo singing "More Than I Can Say," and Fr. Philip Tan performing "Give Thanks." Reflecting on five decades of faithfulness, CCR Assistant Chief Coordinator Christina Loh remarked, "What began as a stirring of the Spirit has grown into a current of grace touching countless lives across our communities."
