Regional Bishops Begin Ad Limina Pilgrimage in Rome
The Catholic Bishops' Conference of Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei (CBCMSB) commenced its Ad Limina pilgrimage in Rome earlier this week, filled with days of prayer, dialogue, and fraternity. On 18 May 2026, the bishops celebrated Holy Mass at the historic Basilica of Saint John Lateran before engaging with several dicasteries of the Roman Curia, including the Dicasteries for Consecrated Life, Communication, Interreligious Dialogue, and the Causes of Saints, where they met Cardinal Marcello Semeraro.
On 19 May, the bishops continued their fruitful discussions with the Dicasteries for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, Clergy, Integral Human Development, and Laity, Family and Life. Throughout these encounters, they shared the joys, challenges, and synodal journey of the Church in Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei, thereby strengthening their communion with the universal Church through prayer, collaboration, and unity.
Let us continue to keep our shepherds in our prayers as they represent our local dioceses, bringing our joys, challenges, and synodal journeys to the heart of the Church!
